Terry Reed, 54, passed away on October 12, 2007 after a strenuous battle with cancer. A private service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 with the Rev. Wm. Armstead officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 5-7pm at Riggins and Daughter Funeral Home, 916 13th Street West, Bradenton.

Terry was born September 25, 1953 to the late Theodore Butts and Lillie Mae Reed. He moved to Parrish, Fla. at a very young age and was a graduate of the 1971 Class of Palmetto High School.

He leaves to cherish him in memory his wife, Deborah; daughter Lucretia Reed, Tampa Fla.; step-children: Shaquanna Carry, Atlanta Ga., Kevin Carry and Marcellous Martin of Bradenton Fla.; four grandchildren: Reggie, D'Mari, Demarlis, and Chance; a devoted aunt, Frances Reed and mother-in-law, Myrtle Burton; an uncle, Horace (Lillie) Reed and aunt, Hattie Gordon; two brothers: Len Ward and Curtis Ward; preceding in death, sisters Vicky Ward and Andrea 'Precious' Ward.

The family is asking for donations to be made to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd, Sarasota FL 34238, in Terry's memory.
